Field trips at Driftwood Farm are designed to help students explore nature, learn through hands‑on activities, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the flower fields. Each program is tailored to the season and age group, blending outdoor learning with meaningful, memorable experiences. Whether your group is planting seeds in early spring, gathering blooms in midsummer, or harvesting in the fall, our farm offers a calm, engaging environment where curiosity can grow.

Social Butterflies (July–September)

Frequently Asked Questions

When are field trips offered?
Field trips are available April through November, with activities that vary based on blooms and weather. We prefer to host groups on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
How long is a field trip?
Most field trips run 1 to 2 hours, giving your group plenty of time to explore, learn, and enjoy the farm without needing to stay for the full day.

Group size
Minimums are listed with each program above. We can accommodate up to 60 youth.

Chaperones
For safety, please plan for 2 adults per 10 youth. Adults are welcome to participate at the youth cost.
Seating
If anyone in our group needs a rest during your visit, we offer an outdoor patio area available to all guests. On days with drizzle, gusty winds, or extra‑bright sunshine, our barn offers a comfortable indoor seating option.
Projector
A projector is also available for an additional fee if your group would like to include a presentation or lesson.
Bathrooms
We currently have a porta‑potty available for guest use and are working toward adding additional restroom accommodations as our farm continues to grow.

Accessibility
Our farm has grass and gravel parking. Please let us know about any mobility needs so we can help plan your visit.

Weather
U-Pick is outdoors and may be rescheduled due to weather.
